The Oran Fire Protection District was awarded an Assistance
to Firefighter Grant in August 2004 for a new custom Rescue
Pumper. The total grant was for $250,000.00 with Oran's
portion being $25,000.00. The total cost of this truck was
approximately $257,000.00 but we took advantage of a
$5,000.00 savings by paying 50% upon arrival of the chassis.
